Jonathan
Green, WTMJ Milwaukee Radio personality since 1969, was
asked so many times to be a "Celebrity Auctioneer"
that he learned to do the auction chant. He liked doing it
so much that he earned the Colonel's degree at World Wide
College of Auctioneering, became a licensed auctioneer, and
started Wisconsin's only strictly beneficial auction company:
Show-BID-ness Auctions.
Jonathan's
first career is radio. He started as a freshman announcer
at Cornell University's WVBR in 1962 and worked at three stations
in his native Ohio before serving Uncle Sam at the American
Forces Network, Europe (AFN) in Frankfurt. Germany.
His
WTMJ notoriety calls for Jonathan to perform all sorts of
live audience chores...Master of Ceremonies, banquet speaker,
standup comedy,
radio
and television shows and celebrity auctioneer. Jonathan combines
his mastery of stage presence, his skill as an auctioneer
and his celebrity status as Milwaukee's premier afternoon
radio personality to bring excitement, fun and profit to fund
raising auctions.
Jonathan
and wife, Kathy, live in the Holy Hill area.
